Bhubaneswar: A finance employee, who went missing two days ago, was found dead in a jungle in the Bolangir district of Odisha. His body was found hanging from a tree in the Goelbhadi forest under the Saintala police limits.

The deceased has been identified as Uttam Nag, a resident of Sargiguda under Titlagarh police station.

Uttam was working in a finance company in Titlagarh for the last three years. He had been missing since September 2, and his family had filed a complaint with the Titlagarh police station after they failed to trace him despite their frantic search. His hanging body was found on Wednesday.

Investigating is underway to determine the cause of death, and it is unclear whether Uttam committed suicide or was murdered. The body has been sent for post-mortem, said police.
