Bhubaneswar: Physically challenged people will no longer face difficulties in accessing the office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities at Toshali Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
The State government has introduced the ‘Mo Bus’ service on Route 31, connecting Toshali Bhawan, to address the commuting challenges faced by people with disabilities. This initiative aims to facilitate easy access to the State Commission office, which has been operational from Toshali Bhawan since April 2023.
The Commission had requested CRUT, Bhubaneswar, to operate ‘Mo Bus’ on this route, considering the difficulties faced by disabled individuals. The bus service, part of Route-31, departs from Master Canteen every morning, making 23 stops before reaching Hi-Tech Hospital.
The new bus service will greatly benefit not only disabled individuals but also employees and the general public visiting other offices in Toshali Bhawan. The state government has expressed gratitude to the CRUT authorities for introducing this inclusive transportation service.
