Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of the State. Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, and Kandhamal, the IMD stated today.
Similarly, on January 22 and 23, light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Balasore and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha. On January 23 and 24, thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, and Cuttack.
“Minimum temperature (night temperature) likely to rise by 2-3°C during next 2 days and no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha. In Bhubaneswar, there will be partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder/lightning. Maximum and Minimum temperature very likely to be around 28°C and 18°C respectively,” the IMD further stated.
