Moderate Rainfall With Lightning Likely In 17 Odisha Dists In Next 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) her e on Sunday issued a yellow alert for light to moderate rain/thunderstorm with lightning in some parts of Sundarnagar, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada and Gajapati districts in the next three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
