Bhubaneswar: BJP MP Bibhu Prasad Tarai, representing Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha, had a close shave after a vehicle rammed into his car from behind near Hajipur on National Highway 55 on Saturday.
According to reports, Tarai was travelling from Bhubaneswar to the Nabakrushna Choudhury Stadium in Jagatsinghpur to attend a sports event when the mishap occurred. A speeding car hit Tarai’s vehicle from the rear, causing significant damage.
Despite significant damage to his car, Tarai emerged unhurt. The Biridi police quickly detained the driver and seized the vehicle involved in the collision.
