‘Mukhyamantri Kamadhenu Yojana’ Gets Cabinet Nod; Over 15 Lakh Farmers To Be Benefited

Bhubaneswar: The State Cabinet today approved the new State Sector umbrella Scheme ‘Mukhyamantri Kamadhenu Yojana (MKY)’.

The scheme will be implemented in the State for five years from Financial Year 2024-25 to 2028-29 with budgetary outlay of Rs 1423.47 Cr under various sub-schemes including Buffalo Entrepreureship, Go-palan yojana, Go-sampad Bima Yojana, calf rearing scheme etc. All the schemes with their budget outlay are given below.

This scheme aims to increase the milk production of the State benefiting 15,47,837 farmers in five years, thereby increasing their income.
