Mystery Shrouds Death Of Couple In Odisha’s Bolangir

Bhubaneswar: Mystery shrouds the death of a couple whose bodies were recovered from Agalpur Kudapali village under Agalpur police station in Odisha’s Balangir district on Monday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Kshirod Bariha and his wife Tardana Bariha.

Early on Monday morning, local villagers spotted Kshirod’s body hanging from a neem tree on the outskirts of the village, while Tardina’s body was lying on the ground. They also spotted a bucket near the couple’s bodies.

On being informed, Agalpur police reached the village, sent the bodies for post-mortem, and launched an investigation into the issue.

The reason behind the death of the couple is yet to be ascertained.
