Mystery Shrouds Woman, Son’s Deaths In Ganjam Village

Ganjam: Mystery shrouds the death of a woman and her son who were found dead in their home in Chudialanji village under Jarada police station of Ganjam district on Monday morning.

According to reports, the deceased woman, who was identified as D Nilabati, and her son were not seen in the village for the last few days. This raised the suspicion of the villagers who went to their house this morning and found the door locked from inside. They called the names of the woman and her some for some time and when there was no response, the villagers reported the matter to the police.

On the arrival of the police, villagers broke open the door of the house and found the mother and son lying dead inside.

Police have recovered the two bodies and sent them for post-mortem. An investigation has also been launched into the case to ascertain the reason behind the deaths.
