Bhubaneswar: The Nabajouban (Rejuvenation) Darshan of Lord Jagannath and his deity siblings, Lord Balabadra and Devi Subhadra, will be held in the Shreemandir on Monday. The Rath Yatra (Chariot Festival) or Shree Gundicha Yatra will be held on June 20.
The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has made arrangements for Paramanik (paid) and Sadharan (free) darshan of the deities will begin at 8.00 am and end at 11.00 am.
As per the schedule prepared by the SJTA, Pramanik Darshan of the deities will be held between 8.00 am and 9.00 am, while the general (free) darshan will be from 9.00 am to 11 am. The doors of the temple will be closed for the devotees after 11.00 am on Monday.
“A total of 7,000 tickets will be sold for Paramanik Darshan of the Lords from 8 am to 9 am,” SJTA chief Ranjan Kumar had told the media two days back.
The deities of the Shreemandir have fully recovered from fever after a holy bath on the Snana Purnima Day.
According to Puri police, 60 platoons of police will be deployed for the smooth conduct of Nabajouban Darshan on Monday.
