Bhubaneswar: Nandankanan Zoological Park’s lone African lioness ‘Bini’ died this evening.
Bini died of ailment associated with old age. She was 17.
She was brought to Nandankanan Zoo in 2015 from Tel Aviv in Israel along with three other lions.
Currently, Nandankanan Zoo has a population of 21 lions which include both African and Asian.
