Jharsuguda: A car driver had a close shave while the vehicle he was driving caught fire due to short circuit near Kumbharbandha in Jharsuguda district.
The incident happened at Jharamunda gorge near Kumbhar in Jharsuguda.
Jyoti Bhushan Swain, a resident of Jharsuguda was heading towards Sambalpur in his car. The vehicle caught fire in the middle of the road due to a short circuit. He suddenly got down of the car and ran away to a safe place.
Later, he informed the police and fire brigade. The car was completely damaged in the fire on arrival of the fire brigade team.
