Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today cleared the air on the Opposition’s question on the woman named Shradha who accompanied him to the Vatican City.
The CM gave the clarification in the Assembly that Shradha is his physiotherapist who was sent by his late sister Gita Mehta. She was also neither allotted any government accommodation nor her travel expenses borne by the government, Patnaik clarified.
“Shradha is a physiotherapist sent by my sister Late Gita Mehta to take care of my physical fitness. She has neither been allotted government quarters nor have her travel bills been paid by Government of Odisha,” the CM stated in the House.
He also advised the members to use the House for the interest of the public.
“We should use the precious time in this August house to debate on issues of public interest,” he said.
