Naveen Patnaik Mourns SCB Hospital Fire Victims’ Death, Urges Govt Best Care For Injured

Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik has expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased who were killed in a fire incident which broke out late Sunday night at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, claiming ten lives and injuring several others.

In a social media post, Patnaik has wished for the swift recovery of those injured and announced plans to visit the hospital.

Patnaik urged the state government to ensure the best medical facilities for all the injured. Besides, he has instructed the Mayor of Cuttack and the Tangi-Choudwar MLA to visit the hospital and provide assistance

“The fire incident at SCB Medical in Cuttack resulting in the deaths of several people is extremely heartbreaking. I express my deepest condolences to the grieving family members, along with prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls. Along with this, I pray for the swift recovery of those seriously injured in the fire. I urge the state government to ensure the best medical facilities for all the injured. The Mayor of Cuttack and the Tangi-Choudwar MLA have been instructed to reach the incident site and provide assistance.”
