Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who hit the campaign trail today from his own constituency Hinjili, is scheduled to hold rallies at 36 places seeking votes for party candidates by May 29.
According to party sources, Patnaik will campaign in the 21 Lok Sabha constituencies and 147 assembly constituencies under it. Similarly, 5T chairman Kartik Pandian will also hold elections rallies at 102 places across Odisha.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has campaigned in his constituency Hinjili today. He took a special helicopter and reached Hinjili amid a heavy crowd. He was accompanied by VK Pandian.
All the Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates from Ganjam were also present during the public meeting.
Through his address, the CM came down heavily on Opposition parties for doing petty politics over the development of Odisha.
He said that no one can block the path of development in the State. Odisha would be a No -1 State by 2036. Patnaik also asserted that BJD will perform better in both Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Odisha.
