Nayagarh Bus Mishap: CM Majhi Announces Rs 4L Ex-Gratia For Accident Victims

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic bus accident in Nayagarh’s Dasapalla area, which claimed the lives of five persons.

The CM has condoled the deaths and announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 4 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased including Suprava Sahu, Sumati Sahu, Prabin Kumar Sahu, L Hari Patra and L Lakhmi Patra from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Notably, the mishap took place when a tourist bus overturned after hitting a rock near Takara Ghati on National Highway 57 in Nayagarh district late Friday night. The tourist bus was carrying around 60 passengers to Harishankar from Berhampur.
