Nayagarh MVI Arrested For Possession Of Huge Disproportionate Assets

Bhubaneswar: A day after unearthing huge disproportionate assets, the vigilance sleuths today arrested Nayagarh MVI Panchanan Behera and forwarded him to court.

During day-long search on December 9, the anti-corruption agency found disproportionate assets of 293% of income including two buildings in Bhubaneswar, 31 Plots including 10 Benami Plots in Bhubaneswar, Rs 72 Lakhs bank deposits, vigilance stated through ‘X’.

Vigilance conducted raids at seven places in Khurdha (Bhubaneswar), Nayagarh and Cuttack dists.

The raiding team comprises six DSPs, three Inspectors, eight ASIs and other staff.
