Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has set up a 24×7 control room at Odisha Niwas in New Delhi to assist people from the state in distress after a massive flash flood swept through some regions of Nepal on Wednesday.
According to reports, hundreds of Indians have gone missing since the incident.
In a notice issued by the Office of the Chief Resident Commissioner, Government of Odisha, at 4 Bordoloi Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, the state government said the control room will provide necessary assistance to persons from Odisha affected by the flood.
The control room can be contacted on mobile numbers 7428135044 and 8527580245 and landline 011-23012807. The MEA helpline numbers 9851316807 and 9709107500 may also be contacted for assistance, the notice said.
