Bhadrak: Two persons were killed and one sustained grievous injuries in a road accident which took place near Grid Square at Chandbali on Saturday.
The mishap occured at around 9 pm in the night when two youths were riding on a bike at very high speed and proceeding towards Chadadia from Chandbali. The duo rammed into another motorcyclist, Sudarsan Nayak (23).
The collision was so severe that Nayak fell on the road and died on the spot. Another youth Balaram Sahoo (30) was killed while his friend Bapun Pal was severely wounded.
Pedestrians informed the Fire Services which rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and the injured to hospital. Nayak and Sahoo were declared brought dead while Pal is undergoing treatment.
