Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a newlywed woman was found hanging in her house at Dhirikuti slum under Mancheswar police station in Bhubaneswar.
The deceased, identified as Trupti Nayak, is the daughter of Subash Nayak from Andharua village in Bhubaneswar, and had reportedly been married recently.
Following allegations by Trupti’s family members, the Mancheswar police registered a murder case and detained her husband and in-laws for interrogation. After questioning, the police arrested Trupti’s husband, Bikram Nayak, in connection with her death.
The family members of the deceased have alleged that Trupti’s in-laws were involved in her murder, making it look like a suicide. They claim that the in-laws described it as a planned killing, and the police are now investigating the allegation.
The case is currently under investigation.
