Bhubaneswar: The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Monday predicted that colder days are ahead in Odisha as the minimum temperature (night temperature) is likely to drop by 3°C-4°C this week.
Although there would be no major change in the minimum temperature within the next 24 hours, it is likely to drop by 3°C-4°C thereafter, the IMD wrote in its X handle today.
Koraput recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13.2°C in Odisha in the last 24 hours, several districts in the south coastal areas of the state, including Koraput, Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Gajapati, may experience light to moderate rain or thundershower on Monday and Tuesday.
Otherwise, dry weather will prevail in the remaining districts of Odisha today, the IMD predicted.
