Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a nowcast warning for six Odisha districts predicting light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in the next three hours.
As per the nowcast warning issued at 10: 25 am, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is very likely to occur at a few places over Baleshwar, Mayurbhanj, Baragada, Nuapada, Balangir and Jagatsinghpur during the next three hours.
The IMD has advised people in these districts to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan their movement accordingly for safety.
