Bhubaneswar: For the next three hours, eight districts of Odisha will experience moderate rain and thundershower. Besides, the weather office has predicted heavy rainfall in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar under the impact of low pressure over the Bay of Bengal.
The places that are like to receive moderate rain and thundershower in the next three hours include Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Nabarangapur and Kalahandi.
As per IMD information, some areas of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack will experience heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) in the next three hours.
Collectors of these eight districts have been put on alert, while people have been advised to take precautionary measures to avoid being affected by thundershowers.
Meanwhile, the IMD has advised people to follow the advisory on traffic congestion before leaving for their respective destinations.
