Bhubaneswar: The autopsy report of Odia Tele-Serial actress Rashmirekha Ojha mentions death by hanging caused by constriction of the neck by a ligature as her possible cause of death, Capital Hospital sources revealed.
Rashmirekha had died of asphyxia and her body bore no marks of external injuries, the sources added quoting from the autopsy report.
The tele-serial actress had possibly died 24-36 hours before the autopsy was conducted, the sources further said.
Rashmirekha’s body was found hanging from the ceiling of her rented house in Nayapalli area here on June 20.
Prima facie the police considered the tele-serial actress to have committed suicide as she was supposedly under depression.
A suicide note was also recovered from the spot.
