Odisha: 1.6 Kg Gold Stolen From SBI Laxmipur Branch

Koraput: Gold weighing around 1.610 kg has been stolen from the Lakhimpur branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) in Koraput district.

According to reports, Branch Manager of SBI Laxmipur branch Sudhanshu Rout has lodged a complaint at the Laxmipur police station in this connection.

In the complaint, Rout has alleged that the gold has been stolen by a casual employee of the bank identified as Sekhar Kuldeep.

Casual employee Kuldeep has been absconding for around a month and a half, Rout has mentioned in the complaint.

Following the complaint, police have launched an investigation into the matter.
