Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has approved 102 micro, small and medium enterprise proposals under the Single Window Clearance Committee (SWCC) for setting up industries in various districts of the state during the financial year 2024-2025 (from April 1, 2024 to November 18, 2024).
Gokulananda Mallik, Odisha minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, told the Assembly on Wednesday that the said proposals have an investment opportunity of Rs 861.66 crore and there is an opportunity to create employment for 560 people.
Replying to a question by Pabitra Saunta, the minister said in the upcoming Make in Odisha Conclave, the government’s special policies, initiatives and cooperation will be showcased before the investors. “Based on the experience of the previous Make in Odisha Conclave, Odisha will be presented as a high-quality investment destination. The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, Odisha does not have any data regarding the non-cooperation of the capitalists,” he added.
