Bhubaneswar: Monsoon Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will begin on September 22 and continue till October 3.
The session will have nine working days, with one holiday and two no-meeting days, as per the provisional calendar.
The Secretariat of the Odisha Legislative Assembly has forwarded the provisional calendar of sittings for the proposed Seventh Session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly to the State Government.
In a notification issued on August 24, Assembly Secretary Satyabrata Rout, has written to the Principal Secretary to Government, Parliamentary Affairs Department, enclosing the provisional calendar.
Rout has requested that if the commencing date proposed in the provisional calendar is agreed upon by the Government, steps may be taken to move His Excellency the Governor for summoning the Session.
