Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has started the registration process for the 2026 Kharif paddy procurement season.
As per government order, farmers can register from August 6 to August 31 by collecting a fresh registration form from their nearest Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) and submitting the filled form at the same office within the given deadline.
Along with the form, applicants need to attach photocopies of their Aadhaar card, an Aadhaar-linked or alternative mobile number, the Record of Rights or land documents, the first page of their bank passbook, and either the Farmer Registry number or Agri Stack number. Sharecroppers must also provide a consent letter from the landowner. Aadhaar-based e-KYC is compulsory for completing the registration.
In the form, farmers are required to specify the month and fortnight in which they plan to sell their paddy under the Kharif procurement programme. For sharecroppers, the registration process involves Aadhaar e-KYC of both the cultivator and the landowner, and the landowner’s presence is mandatory during this process.
