Bhubaneswar: The new BJP government, which will be completing 100 days in office tomorrow, is all set to organise a special event to mark the occasion in Puri. The event which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, will witness senior leaders and thousands of workers and party supporters from across the State.
Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal expressed pride in the party’s progress, stating that they are committed to fulfilling their pre-poll promises. He explained the government’s key achievements including opening of Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar and all four gates, implementation of Subhadra Yojana and increasing MSP.
Samal also addressed the chit-fund scam, a major poll agenda item against the previous BJD government. He assured that the government has initiated the process of refunding money to affected investors. A committee has been formed to examine the legal aspects, and necessary steps will be taken soon.
“The Odisha government has started the process of returning money to the victims of the chit-fund scam. A committee is examining the legal side, and necessary steps will be taken at the earliest,” Samal said at a press conference in Bhubaneswar.
The BJP’s 2024 manifesto for Odisha outlines the party’s vision for the state’s development. With the government’s progress in its first 100 days, the party is confident about delivering on its promises, Samal said.
