Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Tuesday approved 13 proposals from seven departments during its 44th meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhavan.
According to an official release, the proposals were discussed and cleared at the meeting of the Council of Ministers held in the Conference Hall of Lok Seva Bhawan.
The approved proposals included seven from the Rural Development Department, the highest among all departments. The Cabinet also cleared one proposal each from the Water Resources Department, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department, Cooperation Department, Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department, and Revenue Department.
In all, the Cabinet approved 13 proposals spanning seven departments, with rural development receiving the maximum attention through seven decisions aimed at the sector.
