Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Monday approved 18 proposals from 12 departments at its 47th meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan here.
Chief Secretary Anu Garg briefed the media after the meeting and said the proposals approved by the State Council of Ministers covered a range of administrative, development and policy matters.
Of the 18 proposals, three were from the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department, four from the Works Department and two from the Water Resources Department. The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industries, Finance, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, School and Mass Education, Law, Energy, and General Administration and Public Grievance departments each had one proposal approved.
The Cabinet also approved a proposal for summoning the seventh session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly under the Parliamentary Affairs Department.
In all, 18 proposals from 12 departments were discussed and approved at the meeting, according to the official release.
