Bhubaneswar: The 38th meeting of the Odisha Cabinet was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the Conference Hall of Lok Seva Bhavan.
Following the meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg briefed the media on the key decisions taken by the Cabinet.
A total of 11 proposals from five departments were deliberated and approved during the meeting. Among the key decisions was the approval of the ambitious Atal Bus Stand scheme, with an outlay of ₹3,400 crore, aimed at strengthening public transport infrastructure across the state.
The scheme is expected to significantly upgrade bus stand facilities, improve commuter amenities, and enhance the overall efficiency of public transportation services in Odisha.
Further details regarding the implementation framework and timelines of the approved proposals are expected to be released by the concerned departments in due course.
