Odisha CM Announces Rs 4 Lakh Ex-Gratia For Deceased Home Guard’s Family

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday expressed deep grief over the death of Pradeep Martha, a home guard serving under the Bhubaneswar Urban Police District.

According to a post shared by the Chief Minister’s Office Odisha on social media platform X, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

As a mark of support, Majhi announced an ex-gratia assistance of ₹4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the family members of the deceased.

The Chief Minister also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended sympathies to the grieving family during this difficult time.
