Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took to Twitter to congratulate Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on their maiden IPL title win in 2025.
In his tweet, CM Majhi acknowledged RCB’s remarkable comeback story, highlighting their resilience, unity, and determination.
The CM also extended best wishes to RCB as they move forward, hoping their momentum and fighting spirit will lead to even greater successes.

May this momentum and fighting spirit propel you to even greater heights. Odisha joins your legion of fans in celebrating this unforgettable achievement.”
It is pertinent to mention that RCB’s victory came after a thrilling final match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on June 3, 2025. Chasing a target of 191 runs, PBKS fell short by 6 runs, with RCB winning the match 190/9 (20 overs) to 184/7 (20 overs). Virat Kohli, a key player for RCB, scored 43 runs off 35 balls.
The win marked an emotional moment for Virat Kohli, who had been waiting 18 years for RCB to lift the IPL trophy. Kohli was visibly overwhelmed with emotion, and teammates rushed to congratulate him after the win.
