Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday congratulated and felicitated ace para-badminton player Pramod Bhagat for making history by winning his sixth gold medal at the World Para Badminton Championships. Bhagat also secured the world title for a record fourth consecutive time.
Praising the athlete’s outstanding achievement, the Chief Minister said Bhagat’s success is a matter of immense pride for the state and an inspiration for young sportspersons nationwide.
“His success is a matter of pride for the entire state of Odisha and an inspiration for our young sportspersons. His unwavering determination and hard work will surely inspire the next generation to reach greater heights,” read the Chief Minister’s social media post on X.
He also extended his heartfelt wishes for Bhagat’s bright future and continued success in the years ahead.
