Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed profound grief over the demise of noted cinematographer Dillip Ray.
In a heartfelt message on his X handle, the Chief Minister described Ray as a distinguished artist whose contributions significantly enriched the Odia film industry.
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of distinguished cinematographer Dillip Ray. His extraordinary artistic contributions to enriching the Odia film world will always remain memorable. His departure is an irreparable loss to our world of art and culture,” CM Majhi stated.
Also, the Chief Minister further conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
He said the void left by Dillip Ray would be difficult to fill, acknowledging the veteran cinematographer’s lasting impact on Odisha’s cinematic heritage.
