Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and held discussions on a range of key issues related to the state’s development agenda, including infrastructure expansion and investment promotion.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister is understood to have apprised the Prime Minister of Odisha’s ongoing and proposed infrastructure projects, with a focus on accelerating growth across key sectors. He also discussed measures to expand investment opportunities in the state and strengthen implementation of public welfare initiatives aimed at improving service delivery.
Majhi also extended an invitation to Prime Minister Modi to attend the celebrations marking two years of the state government’s tenure. He highlighted what he described as the administration’s “dedicated service to the people of Odisha” during its term.
In a post on X following the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister’s continued guidance and support.
“Grateful for his continued guidance and support as we collectively strive towards the state’s sustained progress and holistic development,” read the Chief Minister’s social media post on X.
The meeting is seen as part of the state government’s continued engagement with the Centre to push forward its development priorities and attract greater investment into Odisha.
