Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi Takes Holy Dip In Baitarani River

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took a holy dip in the Baitarani River at Shabya Kaveri Ghat in Keonjhar district on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, accompanied by his wife.

After the ritual, Majhi offered water to Lord Sun and extended Makar Sankranti greetings to the people.

As per reports, the Chief Minister’s visit is part of his two-day tour of Keonjhar district, which began on Tuesday.

Tight security arrangements have been made along the banks of the Baitarani River for Chief Minister Majhi’s visit. A large police force and fire department personnel have been deployed for the cause.
