Tokyo: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik received a warm welcome on his arrival to Japan’s capital Tokyo on early Tuesday. The Ambassador of India to Japan Sibi George and officials of the Indian embassy gave a warm welcome to the Chief Minister, reports said.
The Chief Minister is on a week-long visit to Japan to woo investors in various sectors in Odisha as well as enhance the cultural relationship between the eastern Indian state and Japan. He is leading a high-powered delegation to Japan, which was a country partner in the ‘Make in Odisha’ event.
During the visit, Naveen is scheduled to attend programmes in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. He is scheduled to return on April 9.
