Cuttack: Taking serious note of the alleged rape of an Odia young woman in New Delhi Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday directed IG, Crime Against Women and Children Wing (CAW & CW) S Shyni to visit Delhi and monitor progress of the investigation of this incident.
In addition to overseeing the investigation, the Chief Minister instructed Shyni to meet the victim and inquire about her health and well-being. The CM also emphasized the need for close coordination between the Odisha State Police and the Delhi Police, ensuring full cooperation in advancing the investigation.
Majhi’s prompt directives reflect the government’s serious approach to the incident, as efforts are being made to ensure justice and support for the victim.
