Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced that the Chief Minister’s weekly public grievance hearing, Jan Abhiyog Shunani, scheduled for Monday (August 10), will not be held due to the Chief Minister’s prior official engagements.
In a statement, the General Administration and Public Grievance Department said the grievance hearing has been kept closed for the day owing to the Chief Minister’s other important commitments.
The department added that the date for the next Jan Abhiyog Shunani will be announced later through newspapers and other mass media so that members of the public are informed in advance.
The Chief Minister’s public grievance hearing serves as a platform for citizens to directly present their complaints and petitions before the state government for redressal.
