NEET UG Re-Exam - Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday initiated preparations for the upcoming NEET (UG) re-examination scheduled by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 21, 2026, issuing directives for the deployment of examination personnel across the state.

The Skill Development and Technical Education Department has issued an official communication assigning duties to principals and staff of government polytechnics and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

According to the circular, officials previously designated as centre superintendents and other examination functionaries have been instructed to remain available at their respective headquarters from June 19, 2026. They have also been directed to participate in a mandatory mock drill scheduled for June 20, 2026, as part of the preparatory arrangements.

The department further stated that all concerned personnel must discharge their assigned responsibilities on the day of the examination and remain present until the completion of all examination-related formalities.

The measures have been put in place to ensure proper coordination, discipline, and seamless execution of the examination process across all designated centres in the state.
