Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, 2011-batch IAS officer Samarth Verma, Director of Technical Education and Training, has been given the additional charge of Director of Minor Minerals.
“Shri Samarth Verma, IAS(RR-2011), Director, Technical Education & Training, Odisha with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Film Development Corporation is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, Minor Minerals”, read the notification.
Besides, the Odisha government has appointed K Sudarshan Chakravarthy, a 2011-batch IAS officer, as the Managing Director of Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited. Before this, Chakravarthy was the Director of Minor Minerals in the state.
“Shri K. Sudarshan Chakravarthy, IAS(RR-2011), Director, Minor Minerals is appointed as Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd”, the notification stated.
Also, Shubham Saxena, a 2013-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Director of Agriculture and Food Production, in Odisha.
“Shri Shubham Saxena, IAS(RR-2013), Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd with additional charge of Additional Secretary to Government, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department is appointed as Director, Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha”, stated the notification.
