Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Raghubar Das today felicitated 122 NCC cadets for securing ninth position in the Republic Day parade in New Delhi at a function held at Raj Bhawan.
“India is a country of youth mass. Youth is the future of the country. NCC inculcates the spirit of discipline, dedication and service to the nation among the young students. I appreciate the role of NCC in various cultural and social activities,” Governor stated on ‘X’ handle.
A special programme ‘At Home’ was organised at Raj Bhawan to felicitate the young cadets.
“122 cadets from Odisha returned State after attending the Republic Day parade and brought laurel to the State. We gathered today to give a thumbs up,” a NCC officer said.
