Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati paid a visit to Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas and inquired about his health and well-being.
According to reports, Patnaik was hospitalized in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar due to dehydration issues and was discharged on August 20. A medical team has been regularly monitoring Patnaik’s health at his residence.
Prior to the Governor’s visit, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi had also visited Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas on August 23 and had a 10-minute discussion with him, taking stock of his health.
Many BJD leaders and workers have also visited Naveen Niwas to meet Naveen Patnaik and wish him well.
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also called Naveen Patnaik after his discharge from the hospital, inquiring about his health and wishing him a speedy recovery.
