Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has accorded-in-principle approval for establishing 55 Trauma Care Facilities (Level III) in the existing health facilities along the national highways passing in the State.
The sites of the newly proposed trauma care facilities are Pallhara, Khamar, Banarpal, Talcher, Chhendipada, R.K.Nagar, Sor o, Padampur, Titlagarh, Purunakatak, Barkote, Kamakhyanagar, Bhuban, Mohana, R. Udayagiri, Khallikote, Bhanjanagar, Aska, Badachana, Lakhanpur, Brajarajnagar, Kolabira, Kesinga, Kokasara, Dharmagarh, Tumudibandha, Daringibadi, Tikabali, Champua, Ghatgaon, Anandapur, Chandpur, Balugaon, Bolagada, Kunduli, Kotapad, Laxmipur, Mathili, Kalimela, Bangiriposhi, Jashipur, Karanjia, Betnoti, Dasapalla, Khariar, Komna, Pipili, Padmapur, Kuchinda, Fasimal, Naktideula, Dunguripali, Lahunipada, Kutra, and Koida, said a notification issued by the Health & Family Welfare Department.
Steps shall be taken to assess the gap in infrastructure, manpower, equipment and instrument and fulfil them to strengthen the new Trauma Care Facilities.
