Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday appointed senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer K. Murugesan as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HoFF), Odisha.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievances Department, 1994 batch Murugesan has been appointed in the Apex Scale (Level-17 in the Pay Matrix) under the provisions of Note-2 of Rule 3(2) of the IFS (Pay) Rules, 2016.
The notification was issued with the approval of the Governor of Odisha.
Murugesan, a 1994-batch IFS officer, brings extensive administrative and field experience to the state’s forest governance.
