Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday effected a minor reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre, appointing Dr. Poma Tudu as Additional Secretary in the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department and posting Smita Pani as the new Managing Director of the Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited (OSMCL).
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, Dr. Poma Tudu (IAS: PR-2012), who was serving as the Managing Director of OSMCL, has been appointed as Additional Secretary to the Government in the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department.
She will, however, continue to hold the additional charges of Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha, and Managing Director of TDCCOL.
Smita Pani (IAS: NSCS-2020), who had recently joined the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, has been appointed as the Managing Director of OSMCL, succeeding Dr. Tudu at the state’s key public health procurement agency.
