Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday effected a minor reshuffle in the State’s IAS cadre.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, 2011 batch IAS officer Samarth Verma, Additional Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri (in charge of Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration ) with additional charge of Additional Secretary to Government, Works Department is appointed as Additional Secretary to Government, Works Department.
Similarly, 2012 batch IAS officer Vineet Bhardwaj, Collector & District Magistrate, Cuttack is appointed as Director-cum-Additional Secretary, Drinking Water & Sanitation, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.
Besides, 2015 batch IAS officer Parul Patawari, Collector & District Magistrate, Jagatsinghpur is appointed as State Project Director, Odisha School Education Programme Authority.
The post of State Project Director, Odisha School Education Programme Authority is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
Further, 2018 batch IAS officer Dr Subhankar Mohapatra is appointed as Director, Rural Development.
The post of Director, Rural Development is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Deputy Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State, the notification, stated.
