Bhubaneswar: The Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department has announced a call for entries for the 35th State Film Awards-2023 and 36th State Film Awards-2024. Producers can submit their films, along with required documents and a soft copy, via registered post/speed post/parcel by October 4, 2025.
Films eligible for the 35th State Film Awards-2023 are those that obtained a film certificate between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023. For the 36th State Film Awards-2024, films with certificates obtained between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, are eligible.
Additionally, writers/authors can apply for the best article award on Odia films, written in Odia or English, by submitting ten copies of their book/monograph to the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department by October 4, 2025.
