Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to commence the postgraduate (PG) admission process for the 2025-26 academic session at the earliest.

According to an official press release, as part of this initiative, the Common Application Form (CAF) submission will begin on March 10, 2025.

Students aspiring to enroll in PG programs must appear for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET), as selection will be entirely based on merit, determined by CPET scores. The entrance test is scheduled to be conducted in the first week of May 2025.

To ensure a streamlined academic calendar, the Higher Education Department has set a target to commence PG courses in universities and colleges by July 10, 2025. This will facilitate the timely completion of courses, allowing for scheduled examinations and prompt result announcements, ultimately benefiting students across Odisha.
